The registered office must be a physical address in New Hampshire, and the agent can either be a resident of the state, or a company registered to transact business in New Hampshire.
  • Any Limited Liability Company formed outside of New Hampshire can register to do business within the state by mailing in an Application for Registration as a Foreign Limited Liability Company, along with a certificate of good standing/existence and a filing fee, to the Secretary of State. If a LLC's name is not available to use in New Hampshire, they can apply for a trade name.
